Review of Orchardz Hotel Bandara in Jakarta, Indonesia

The hotel was used as accommodation for connecting flights at Jakarta Airport.

Rp 541 000 per night for a twin room with breakfast.
Booked through Booking.com.

Room at Orchards Hotel Bandara

We stayed in room 811, a twin room.

The room is large enough and clean.
The bed was a little small, but a normal single size, we think.

There is a desk, TV, chair and tea set.
The electric kettle was in poor condition, perhaps broken, but it worked for a time.

Two bottles of drinking water.

Black tea and coffee, cream and sugar.

There is also a fridge.

The closet had slippers, a safe and two hangers.

Bathroom at the Orchards Hotel Bandara

The bathrooms were clean.
There is no bathtub.

The shower has hot water.
Water pressure is good.

Toilet paper is provided.

The washbasin mirror is large.
There is also a hairdryer.

There is one shampoo and shower gel, one toothpaste set and one soap.

Tissues are available in the washroom.

Internet at Orchards Hotel Bandara

The internet was open Wifi, but it connected well.
The connection speed is not bad.

There is an electrical plug for the lamp on the bedside and two electrical plugs on the desk, which are compatible with electrical plugs from different countries.

Dining at Orchards Hotel Bandara

There is a menu in the room and room service is available.

Breakfast at Orchards Hotel Bandara

Breakfast is served in the ground floor restaurant from 2.30am.

It was buffet style and included toast, fresh salads and fruit in addition to Indonesian dishes.

Chicken soup porridge and black sticky rice porridge.

Nasi goreng, fried noodles, stir-fried vegetables and fried fish.
The food was tasty and satisfying.
The coffee was strong and tasty.

The bowls for taking the food were too small and we had to refill them several times, so the table was full of empty bowls.

Location of Orchards Hotel Bandara

The hotel is close to the airport, with a free shuttle bus running every hour.

We used the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport, and the driver was very friendly and spoke English well.

The pick-up point at the airport was also communicated via the Watts Up app and the ride was smooth.

There is an Indomaret and an Alfa Mart a few minutes' walk away.
