Review of Heaven Premium Hotel Istanbul Airport in Turkey

We had a 14-hour connection at Istanbul Airport and used this hotel.

We booked through Booking.com and the price was 33.40 EUR for a double room without breakfast.

The room is not large, but the bed is comfortable.
There is underfloor heating or warm feet.

Perhaps because of the thin walls, the noise from the surroundings was a little disappointing.
We could hear guests laughing and saying 'Good night' to each other in the corridor at around 1 am, and the man in the next room was loudly talking on the phone for about an hour at around 3 am.

TV table, chairs, electric kettle, tea set and snacks.

Free drinking water in the fridge.
Bottles are small.

Free welcome snack.

The bathrooms are not large but adequate.
Clean.

There was a rain shower as well as a regular shower, and hot water came after a while.

It was a bit strange that there was only one large and one small towel, even though there were two of us staying in the room.

Sink area is clean and well stocked with amenities.

Hair dryer.

Two bottles of high quality shampoo and one of soap were provided.
There also was a scrubbing cloth.

Internet connection is smooth and fast.
As expected in Istanbul.

The reception staff are very friendly.
Welcome tea service is also offered.
Some staff speak good English.

There was a menu of meals in the room, although we did not use it.
Prices are not very expensive.

About 15 km by car from Istanbul Airport.
The roads were not busy and it took about 10 minutes to get there.

Taxi fare was 250-300 Turkish Lira.

Panorama Backpackers review, snorkeling everyday at Bunaken Island, Indonesia.

This is the guesthouse where we always stay on Bunaken Island. There are no restaurants in the area, so basically, people stay here with three meals included. Prices are per person and may be a little higher if you are a solo traveller. There are rooms adjacent to the main house (probably from Rp 250,000), garden view bungalows, sea view bungalows and family rooms (one double bed and bunk beds), with bungalow accommodation costing around Rp 300,000-400,000 per person including three meals. We stayed over three weeks in February, May and December 2023. Rooms are simple but clean. No air conditioning, but with fan and mosquito net. Review of Vega Hotel Sorong/Vega Prime Hotel & Convention

After an extended stay in simple accommodation in Raja Ampat, we splurged a little and stayed in a four-star hotel in Sorong. Location of Vega Hotel Sorong The hotel is a short 500m walk from Sorong Airport. We stayed there on the day we arrived by fast boat from Waisai, Raja Ampat, and flew to Jakarta the next morning, so it was a very convenient location. There is an Indomaret next door. Rooms at Vega Hotel Sorong The rooms at Vega Hotel Sorong are a little old, but they are well decorated and clean. We initially booked a windowless twin room for Rp 633 000 (including breakfast), but when we complained about the noisy air conditioning, Mario, the manager, was very helpful and upgraded us to a room with a window. The upgraded room (room 522) was equipped with a fridge and safe. This is the room before the upgrade. There is a telephone, lamp and notepad by the bedside, but the electrical sockets were only for the lamp.
